TAB News is a weekly publication that provides current news and insights on faith-related matters from a distinctly Christian perspective. As a part of an established media organization, TAB News is the newest offering from TAB Media.

The TAB Media team is dedicated to producing content that empowers and uplifts those who follow Jesus Christ, all while adhering to high journalistic ethics in their reporting. With staff members located in multiple states, the publication benefits from diverse life experiences and perspectives. This understanding informs their mission to cater to believers who are spiritually growing, striving to create balance in their lives, and navigating life's challenges with faith.

The Alabama Baptist, the flagship publication of TAB Media, has been in continuous circulation since February 4, 1843, earning numerous national awards recently for its commitment to quality journalism.

While The Alabama Baptist focuses primarily on regional stories pertinent to Alabama, TAB News extends its coverage to encompass national and international events. The Alabama Baptist is available in both print and digital formats, whereas TAB News is currently offered solely as an enhanced digital publication. Both publications are accessible through individual subscriptions, with group discounts available for larger audiences.

In addition to its weekly publications, TAB Media features daily email newsletters that highlight news updates and other relevant information. Breaking news can be found online at tabonline.org, which also houses over 40,000 archived articles from previous issues, a Business & Ministry Directory, and various resources.

TAB Media maintains a strong social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Additionally, it produces three weekly podcasts: the TAB News podcast releases each Wednesday; TAB Talks airs every Monday morning and features conversation-style interviews with guests about pertinent topics; and TAB Briefs broadcasts on Fridays at noon, providing concise coverage of three faith-related news stories.

For deeper explorations into individual experiences or ministry efforts, the seasonal podcast TAB Stories offers long-form narratives focused on specific individuals or churches.

These podcasts are available across popular streaming platforms as well as at tabonline.org/podcasts. Further enhancing its multimedia presence, TAB Media is developing a YouTube channel featuring video content related to articles, podcast discussions, and practical resources on various subjects.

Funding for TAB Media comes from subscriptions, advertising revenue, donations, and contributions from Alabama Baptists through the Cooperative Program. This funding approach helps maintain accessible subscription rates for churches providing the publication for their congregations.

A 16-member board of directors oversees the operations of TAB Media/The Alabama Baptist, Inc., which is led by Jennifer Davis Rash in her role as president and editor-in-chief since January 1, 2019; she has been part of the TAB Media team since January 1, 1996.
